Our Story

Built by people who kept doing GPA math by hand.

College GPA Calculator started as a small spreadsheet used to check a semester GPA before an advising appointment. Manually multiplying grade points by credit hours, adding quality points, and dividing by total credits worked, but it was slow and easy to get wrong when plus/minus grades, repeated courses, and Pass/Fail credit entered the picture.

We rebuilt that spreadsheet into a browser tool that anyone could use for free — no login, no spreadsheet formulas, no guesswork. Today the calculator supports standard, 4.3, and no-plus/minus grading scales, alongside semester, quarter, and trimester academic systems.
